New York State and City Laws

We present the actual, relevant New York State law on Evictions and Security Deposits.  We also have links to the current Rent Stabilization guidelines.

While knowledge of the law can be helpful, and certainly beats ignorance, it is a fact that the laws are complex and difficult to understand.  Which is why we invite members to call our offices when questions arise, and to seek out advice from other landlords at our membership meetings on the "real-world" application of New York law.
